CONVERT YOUR HOME with a DIY SOLAR POWERED HOT WATER HEATING SYSTEM
If you have a basic knowledge of diy and plumbing then you could easily install your own diy solar hot water heating system.

Volume of hot water being used MUST equate to size of hot water storage tank. It is POINTLESS having more solar panels collecting heated water if it can not be stored safely and have a use for it. It is down to how much hot water you use daily which will determine what you require.

What are the most common components in our Solar Hot Water System ?
Solar Hot Water Systems are made up of solar collector panels, storage tanks, piping, controls and in some cases pumps. Our Closed Loop System uses a heat transfer fluid to collect heat and transfer the heated fluid to heat the household water storage tank. This fluid is a glycol-water antifreeze mixture which is effective in areas subject to freezing weather. For this reason the closed loop system is preferred for year round use.

WE RECOMMEND
The most important factors when choosing a system for HOT WATER is to make the system as EFFICIENT as possible. We recommend that the solar panel sits inside the roof and the storage tank is a twin coil version or twin walled version.
